Short version: Needsmith apps don’t send your photos, location, settings, or custom text to Needsmith servers. Long version below.

01 · What we collect

Nothing on Needsmith servers. We don’t run servers for any Needsmith app at this time. CamStamp does not send photos, precise location, settings, or any custom text you add to Needsmith.

02 · Apple services and analytics

iOS and Apple services may process data to provide system features CamStamp relies on. Apple’s reverse geocoding service may be used to turn coordinates into place names, and Photos may download selected assets from iCloud Photos if they are not stored locally on your device. Apple handles App Store purchases, downloads, crash reports, and any diagnostics or usage data you choose to share with app developers. Needsmith may view Apple-provided aggregate App Store Connect metrics, but CamStamp does not include its own analytics or tracking SDK.

03 · Permissions we ask for

Camera and Location are requested when you open the Camera tab. Photo Library access is requested the first time you save a stamped photo or pick one from your library. Location is used to stamp where a photo was taken and, when available, to request an Apple reverse-geocoded place name. Saved photos include standard GPS metadata embedded in the file, the same way photos from the system Camera do.

04 · Non-Apple third parties

None. Needsmith apps don’t bundle third-party SDKs, analytics frameworks, or ad networks.

05 · Children

Needsmith apps are not directed at children under 13.

06 · Retention and controls

Photos, settings, and custom text stay on your device or in your photo library until you edit or delete them. You can revoke Camera, Location, and Photos permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app. Because Needsmith does not keep app data on its servers, there is no server-side account or stored app data for Needsmith to delete.

If this policy changes, the effective date above will change too.
